BREAKING NEWS: Supreme Court Reinstates Travel Ban

TRUMP WIN: The highest court in the United States reinstates key parts of the travel ban.                   
On Monday morning, the court ruled that it would grant petitions for certiorari and grant stay applications in part on President Trump’s travel bans. The Daily Wire reports, "For those unversed in Supreme Court-speak, this means that the Court upheld parts of the travel ban — or at least reserved those questions for later — while leaving some of the lower courts’ hold on enforcement of the travel ban in place." A limited version of the travel ban will, and can be, enforced for the time being. 

The court wrote,
"An American individual or entity that has a bona fide relationship with a particular person seeking to enter the country as a refugee can legitimately claim concrete hardship if that person is excluded," they continued, "As to these individuals and entities, we do not disturb the injunction. But when it comes to refugees who lack any such connection to the United States, for the reasons we have set out, the balance tips in favor of the Government’s compelling need to provide for the Nation’s security."

Oral arguments against the travel ban will be held this fall.

This is a huge win for the Trump Administration. National security is a top priority and American lives are not being played with. No one is discriminating. What's the problem with making sure the immigrants who come to this country can be properly vetted? I don't see one, do you? It's not their right to come to America. It's a privilege, and that can be taken away. They must assimilate into our culture, not the other way around. 
Anyone else love having Justice Gorsuch on the SCOTUS? I sure do.

MOVE THE HELL OUT OF COOK COUNTY

This is not a tax on just soda, but any sugary or artificially flavored beverage. For instance, soda, sports drinks, iced tea, lemonade, juice, any flavored water you can think of will be taxed a penny per ounce. " A penny per ounce, you say? That's nothing! Stop complaining! " If a penny per ounce sounds like practically nothing, let us do the math.       A case of Coca-Cola is 12 cans. Every can is 12 fl oz. Each can will be taxed .12 cents.       .12 cents x 12 = 1.44.        $1.44 will be added onto your bill which does not include any tax that you already pay at the register (roughly 10%). Illinois will be permanently, PERMANENTLY, not temporarily, PERMANENTLY be taking from your pockets.
