Identity Politics: The Force Behind Charlottesville

Identity politics: the Democrats way to get minorities to vote for them, but will it always work? No. At the beginning of the election, no one actually thought Trump would win. I know I didn't. But what drove his victory? Identity politics created by the left. You see, Trump spoke to the white middle class because he saw they were getting left behind by the left, knowing they were getting tired of being the blame for everything. Let us not confuse this, though, that does not mean every single white middle working class person is a Nazi or White Supremacist. The left's narrative is always making minorities think they are victims of the actions caused by whites, especially white males. And the nastiness of what happened in Charlottesville has been escalating for years. So it is no surprise it happened even though every part of this was nasty and disgusting. First thing's first, what is the alt-right? The alt-right is NOT conservative. It is its own movement. So stop calling...

Photo: WGN News On July 6, 2017, the state of Illinois finally has a budget... and it is complete crap. Illinois will be permanently, PERMANENTLY, not temporarily, PERMANENTLY be taking from your pockets. Do you think the state of Illinois deserves any more of your money with their corrupt state government?  On Facebook, Gov. Rauner issued a statement:      "Today was another step in Illinois’ never-ending tragic trail of tax hikes. Speaker Madigan’s 32 percent permanent income tax increase will force another tax hike in the near future. His tax-and-spend plan is not balanced, does not cut enough spending or pay down enough debt, and does not help grow jobs or restore confidence in government. It proves how desperately we need real property tax relief and term limits. Now more than ever, the people of Illinois must fight for change that will help us create a brighter future."  Let me debunk this for you... the personal tax rate will go from 3.75%...

MOVE THE HELL OUT OF COOK COUNTY

Image
Picture source: Chicago Tribune Goodbye cashiers, baggers, stockboys, bartenders,  waitress ', drive-thru and fast food cash register jobs.  On  July 1, 2017 , Cook County will be implementing a Soda Tax. This is not a tax on just soda, but any sugary or artificially flavored beverage. For instance, soda, sports drinks, iced tea, lemonade, juice, any flavored water you can think of will be taxed a penny per ounce. " A penny per ounce, you say? That's nothing! Stop complaining! " If a penny per ounce sounds like practically nothing, let us do the math.       A case of Coca-Cola is 12 cans. Every can is 12 fl oz. Each can will be taxed .12 cents.       .12 cents x 12 = 1.44.        $1.44 will be added onto your bill which does not include any tax that you already pay at the register (roughly 10%). The Soda Tax will be anywhere from 30% to 60% - if you are not purchasing anything bigger than ...

NOT FAKE NEWS: Bernie Sanders and his Wife Being Investigated for Fraud

Image
Alright, people, it has been a long couple of days since I have blogged. I do have a life and a job. But hey, did you hear that Bernie Sanders and his wife are being investigated for fraud? Probably not, and if you have I bet you it was not from the MSM. Well, that is NOT fake news and you will probably never hear it from the MSM because it does not fit their narrative. CBS News reported: "Politico Magazine first reported the Sanders had hired lawyers to defend them in the probe. Sanders' top adviser Jeff Weaver told CBS News the couple has sought legal protection over federal agents' allegations from a January 2016 complaint accusing then-President of Burlington College, Ms. Sanders, of distorting donor levels in a 2010 loan application for $10 million from People's United Bank to purchase 33 acres of land for the institution." Well, well, well. A socialist being investigated for fraud. Does that sound like a surprise? Not to me. The allegations begin w...

BREAKING NEWS: Supreme Court Reinstates Travel Ban

TRUMP WIN: The highest court in the United States reinstates key parts of the travel ban.                    On Monday morning, the court ruled that it would grant petitions for certiorari and grant stay applications in part on President Trump’s travel bans. The Daily Wire reports, "For those unversed in Supreme Court-speak, this means that the Court upheld parts of the travel ban — or at least reserved those questions for later — while leaving some of the lower courts’ hold on enforcement of the travel ban in place." A limited version of the travel ban will, and can be, enforced for the time being.  The court wrote, "An American individual or entity that has a bona fide relationship with a particular person seeking to enter the country as a refugee can legitimately claim concrete hardship if that person is excluded," they continued, "As to these individuals and entities, we do not disturb the injunction. But when it com...

Pro-life Win: Court Dismisses 14 of 15 Charges Against Pro-life Planned Parenthood Investigators

Image
In mid-2015, two Planned Parenthood (PP) investigators, David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt released video-recordings exposing the illegal selling of fetal tissue by PP officials. In 2016,  USA Today  reported, "The grand jury in Harris County indicted David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt on a felony charge of tampering with a governmental record. Daleiden was also indicted on a misdemeanor charge of “prohibition of the purchase and sale of human organs,” Harris County District Attorney Devon Anderson said in a statement.'"       Daleiden defended his videos in a statement that he gave USA Today.  "Six months after these revelations broke, Planned Parenthood still cannot deny that the shocking and indicting words on the videos were spoken by its own senior level leadership," he wrote. "Planned Parenthood cannot rebut the incriminating statements of its own leadership on these tapes, and so it has resorted to ...

Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch Delivers His First Unanimous Court Opinion

Image
Screenshot: NBC News       On June 12, 2017, Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch delivered his first opinion of the court. In the unanimous decision of Henson v. Santander Consumer USA, Inc., the court ruled that Santander Consumer USA, Inc. does not fall under a federal law aimed at unscrupulous debt collectors. Santander Consumer USA, Inc. had bought defaulted car loans and sought to collect the money owed, in a report from  Fox News .       Gorsuch, nevertheless, grabbed attention by his beginning hook:           "Disruptive dinnertime calls, downright deceit, and more besides drew Congress’s eye to the debt collection industry,” he wrote.       In the opinion, he looked at who qualified as a debt collector:            "Everyone agrees that the term embraces the repo man—someone hired by a creditor to collect an outstanding debt. But wha...
